//but you know, the thing about romance is...people only get together right at the very end.//

I had a pretty awesome week :] It was full of doggywalks, failed baking attempts, family lunches, soy milk in black coffee, shopping, and amazing movies <3
Pretty AWESOME way to spend your last week of summer break right? :]

What can I say? I don't believe in leashes :]

There goes my dream of being a world class baker :]

I thought it looked really ugly like this so I flipped it over.
                         Ta DA! :]
hahaha....it was really disgusting. but my aunt...being the SUPER awesome person that she is....ate so much she skipped two meals.

lunch with the fam #1

I've actually been to this place a couple times. Their meat dishes are pretty good but their salad was really GROSS >:

I told my aunt that she looked like Billy Bob Thornton and she said, "that's okay, as long as she's pretty"
My aunt  =  probably still high on my 100% Hershey's chocolate peanut butter cake.
:]

lunch with the fam #2

today was my first time eating at this place. and can I just say....AMAZING :] they have like the best vegan stuff ever.

I like my coffee BLACK. that's right :]
anyhoo daddy's gf was like "you should try something different today". and i was like " like what?" and she looked around and said "put soy milk in your black coffee" and I was like "sure".
it was DISGUSTING. bleh.
no wonder daddy does all the cooking at home.
:]

newbies to my closet :]

Forever21 + EuroComo tees <3

and last but most definitely not least...
the movies I watched this week :]

I've seen Little Miss Sunshine a gazillion times. Some movies are too good to just to watch once :]

I first heard of this movie on Parenthood. (Haddie has a Love Actually poster in her room) It was amazing :]
It had a BUNCH of actors and actresses I ADORE <3

I saw Love Actually with my mom and she fell in love with Colin Firth and demanded I play her a movie with him in it. And the only Colin Firth movie I could think of on the spot was What a Girl Wants haha :]

I hope all of you had an awesome week! + God bless all those on the East Coast right now. My heart goes out to all of you guys <3

@Nature Tea Tree Sebum Purifying Pack Set

So I've had these two for quite a while now :] I use them every few weeks and the results are pretty good. I like them :]

Directions:1. After cleansing, apply Tea Tree Deep Sebum Softener using cotton or fingertips on T-zone for about 1 minute. (Suggestion: Use a hot towel or steam to open the pores for better results)

2. Apply the Tea Tree Sebum Purifying Mask on T-zone, relax and wait for 10-15 minutes or until the mask is totally dry. Peel off and wash off the residue using water or cotton.
3. For best results, use a toner with an astringent effect on T-zone after the two steps.

The toner I use after the mask :]

Me and my nose mask :]

Kirkland Daily Facial Cleansing Towelettes

I got these a couple of weeks ago at Costco :]

[ Product details:

  • Use to thoroughly remove makeup and dirt – no rinsing necessary
  • Quilted for deep cleansing – with Chamomile, Triple Tea Complex and Vitamin E
  • Alcohol & Oil-Free
  • Dermatologist and Ophthalmologist tested

I'm enjoying them, I think when I run out I'm going to buy another box :]
It does a really nice job of removing all of my makeup.

To prove that it gets all my makeup off, this is one that I used after the one on top.

It's completely clean! :]

Before this, I used Biore's cleansing cloths and they were horrible >:
I had to use like 3 to 4 cloths EACH time to remove my makeup + it did a horrible job of removing eyeliner

What are YOUR favorite makeup removers? :]

Tea Tree Triple Threat, g i o v a n n i.

So today I decided that I'm not going to eat or use anything with animal products for a little while :]
It's actually easier than I thought it would be :]
I have no idea what happened though...yesterday I would have wolfed down a chicken steak, but now just the thought of me holding a piece of chicken in my hands makes me feel sick.

If you are interested in being a vegetarian, be sure to check out PETA's vegetarian starter kit, it's amazing :]

Anyhooo I threw away a bunch of my cosmetics away today because I found out that those companies experiment on animals ex: pour perfume down their throats/into their eyes....like who the hell does that? >:
But as I was showering I saw that my shampoo bottle said: no animals were harmed in the making of this shampoo <3 <3
Giovanni rocks my socks :]

If you're interested in buying it you can get it here: http://www.drugstore.com/giovanni-tea-tree-triple-treat-shampoo/qxp157111

08.14.2011 :].

Yes, this is my room :] So you can probably predict what I spent the greater half of the day doing ugh!
But it wasn't all that bad though, I did take some time to look over some old stuff that I could never quite bring myself to get rid of :]

RIP Charlie :( The first horse I ever rode + graduated from Hill Crest Ranch Summer Camp with. I had this horseshoe made in memory of him with his name on the bottom. I miss you baby :(

Haha my first letter from the tooth fairy :]

I grew up listening to country music and I love all of the singers but Tim McGraw has always been my favorite :] I printed this picture when I was 8 and taped it beside my computer <3 <3 I couldn't believe I still had it :]

My all time favorite book as a kid. I read it from cover to cover so many times it's got no covers anymore! :]

I was in the middle of cleaning my room when my mom asked if I wanted to go watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes with her and I was like hell yeah :]
The movie was so sad... but the ape in the movie had the same name as my family dog (who we had to leave behind when we moved to Taiwan) in the states...CESAR!! <3 <3 which was pretty awesome.

The movie theater was packed!
